| Company Donates K9 Cops to Local Florida Police Department |

| The streets of Sanford, Florida just got safer—thanks to two new four-legged officers. At a recent Sanford Commissioners meeting, Girard Environmental Services donated two K-9's, a Labrador Retriever and a German Shepherd to the Sanford Police Department’s K-9 unit. Girard Environmental Services, a full-service landscaping company, had good reason to donate the four-legged officers to the city, which is full of historic buildings dating from the late 19th century.

In Lake Mary, FL, FOX's network affiliate WOFL wanted to take advantage of the state's year-round favorable weather by being the first Central Florida news station to have its own open-air studio.
